Did you ever sharpen a cosmetic pencil, and just as you almost have the perfect point, it snaps off in the sharpener? Very annoying… So, here are two tricks to help you out:
- Put your pencil in the freezer for at least 30 minutes to freeze the crayon in the middle before sharpening.
- Don’t twist the pencil round and round. Shave the side of the pencil showing the most wood until it is even, and then work on sharpening the crayon center.
Everyone needs an extra sharpener. One lives in the drawer with the eyeliner, and the other is the travel case.
