Toning and balancing is the second half of proper cleansing.
Unlike other alcohol-based toners, Skin Freshener won’t burn, irritate or dry out the skin. Instead, it stimulates, soothes, and heals.
All 55 healing herbs used in Skin Freshener are considered “High Healers“ and are alkaline, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal, and stimulate the skin for better circulation. Better circulation under the skin means you will have more oxygen supplied to that area. Oxygen in the skin purifies from underneath, giving you smaller and cleaner pores, fewer breakouts, and a healthier-looking complexion.
Pure grain alcohol, unlike cheaper wood versions, purifies the skin without irritating or burning and eliminates all bacteria from the pores. Skin Freshener also contains caramelized sugar. Sugar is an active healer and general curative when applied to the skin — especially on cuts and burns. (It’s just inside the body that sugar is not so helpful.) The other great thing about this toner is that you can apply it directly over the eyelids.
Skin Freshener is meant to be used after the Cleansing Cream. Cleansing Cream opens the pores to release dirt; Skin Freshener closes the pores. Application is simple: wet a cotton round and gently rub it over the skin, especially the eyelids. Take a deep breath and feel your balance.
For maximum effect, use morning and night.
P.S. Forget cucumbers. Another excellent use for Skin Freshener is to wet two cotton rounds and place them over the eyelids. Leaving them on for 5-15 minutes will soothe, refresh and reduce puffiness.
