Toning and balancing is the second half of proper cleansing. Unlike other alcohol-based toners, Skin Freshener won’t burn, irritate or dry out the skin. Instead it does what toners were meant to do — stimulate, sooth and heal.
All of the 55 healing herbs used in Skin Freshener are considered “High Healers“ and together are alkaline, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, anti-fungal and stimulate the skin for better circulation. Better circulation under the skin means you will have more oxygen supplied to that area. Oxygen in the skin purifies from underneath so you will have smaller and cleaner pores, fewer break outs and a healthier looking complexion.
Pure grain alcohol, unlike cheaper wood versions, purifies the skin without irritating or burning and eliminates all bacteria from the pores. Skin Freshener also contains caramelized sugar. Sugar is an active healer and general curative when applied to the skin — especially on cuts and burns. (It’s just inside the body that sugar is not so helpful.) The other great thing about this toner is that you can apply it directly over the eyelids.
Skin Freshener was meant to be used after the Cleansing Cream. Cleansing Cream opens the pores to release dirt, Skin Freshener closes the pores. It’s simple to use; simply wet a cotton round and gently rub over skin — especially over the eyelids. Take a deep breath and feel your balance.
For maximum effect use morning and night.
P.S. Forget cucumbers. Another great use for Skin Freshener is to wet two cotton rounds and place them over the eyelids. Leaving them on for 5-15 minutes will soothe, refresh and reduce puffiness.

I love Skin Freshener
I have been using Edna for over 25 years… love, love, love it! I just got a co-worker to try the products and she now loves them too!
It tightens the skin? I’m impressed
I don’t know if the world is getting dirtier or what, but I’d been out of Freshener for a month and have been using the cleansing cream alone — it worked great, but I think my pores were getting bigger?? When I got the freshener three days ago I used the cleansing cream and then the freshener. The pad was SO dirty, I ended up using 3 cotton rounds before It didn’t come up black. I got three complements on my skin today and I swear my pores are tighter and those lines around my eyes are gone! This stuff tightens!!!
